Got Good Service?

Posted by George Pasley on July 17, 2007

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has launched HelpWithMyBank.gov, which provides assistance to customers of national banks. This begs the question, if banks are supposedly so focused on quality customer service, why is there a need for this site? After spending a few minutes on the site, I saw a lot of questions that should have been answered after a quick phone call to a bank’s customer service department. It seems that the actual practice of good customer service is a whole lot harder than the intent.
